Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Capzax is a product of Zaxvix, based in Gothenburg, Sweden (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at the email address at the end of this page.

2. The service

Capzax helps you create captions for your own videos and export them with the captions on. The service is in early access, so features, limits and plans may change, and some parts may be unavailable at times.

3. Your content

You keep all rights to your videos, captions and text. Videos and projects are stored on your phone.

You are responsible for your content and you confirm that you have the right to use it. Do not use Capzax for content that is unlawful, infringes the rights of others or harms others.

When you use Cloud AI, the audio of your video is sent from your phone to a speech-recognition provider to be transcribed. See the Privacy Policy.

4. Accounts

Capzax creates an anonymous account on your phone automatically. You can add a recovery email so your plan and credits can be restored on another phone. Keep access to that email safe. Anyone who controls it can restore your account.

5. Plans, quotas and payments

Capzax offers Free, Standard and Pro plans. Some features have monthly allowances or use credits. Prices, allowances and what each plan includes are shown in the app or the app store before you buy and may change.

Purchases are made through the app store of your device and are subject to its terms. Refunds follow the store’s refund policy and the consumer rights that apply to you.

6. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service: no attempts to break, overload or reverse-engineer it, to bypass limits or to access other people’s accounts. We may limit or suspend access if the service is abused.

7. Automatic captions may contain errors

Speech recognition is not perfect. Captions can contain mistakes, especially with background noise, accents or less common languages. Please review captions before you publish a video.

8. Intellectual property

The Capzax name, logo, app and website belong to Zaxvix. You may not copy or use them except as these terms allow.

9. Third-party services

Capzax relies on third parties such as speech-recognition providers and app stores. We are not responsible for their services, and their own terms apply to you when you use them.

10. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of content, profits or data. Nothing in these terms limits rights that you have as a consumer by law or liability that cannot be excluded.

11. Ending your use

You can stop using Capzax at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by Swedish law. Mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live still apply.

13. Changes

We may update these terms as the service develops. When we make important changes we will tell you in the app or on this website. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
